Do you fancy treating yourself with a morning or afternoon tea break, or a delicious hot locally prepared lunch? Then why not come along to July’s Coldridge Café and enjoy something special from the ‘menu of the day’ which includes cakes, hot & cold beverages along with our hot-lunch option, (mains and dessert), served between noon and 2pm on the day.

Details of July’s lunchtime menu options is shared below. There’s a takeaway service for anything on the menu, and cash or card payments accepted.

Please note that our Café now closes at the earlier time of 3pm.

Summer Wine Tasting, Friday 17th July, 7pm

Weather permitting, plans are afoot for a Wine Tasting event led by Bruce Evans from the Grape & Grain Merchants in Crediton, to be set in the beautiful surroundings of a cottage garden by kind invitation of Keyth and Sara Richardson.

It’s hoped that the ‘garden gate’ will open from 7pm, with the tasting to start in earnest at 7.30pm. There will also be a chance to purchase the night’s wines after the tasting.

Further details available in the attached poster.

Welcome to the new Coldridge Village Hall website!

On behalf of the Coldridge Village Hall Committee I am pleased to announce the launch of our new Village Hall Website – www.coldridgevillagehall.org.uk .

This website is intended provide a ‘shop window’ for all things relating to Coldridge Village Hall, with information about the hall, the groups who use it, its facilities, Village Hall events and the services available to Coldridge residents.

The Coldridge Village Hall website is intended to run alongside the monthly Coldridge Calendar, our “What’s on in Coldridge Devon” Facebook community page and the Coldridge Parish Website.

The website is newly constructed and as such, like housetraining a new puppy, there may be a few initial upsets or desirable improvements that could be made. So, if you have a moment in the coming days please grab a ‘hot beverage’, click-on the new Village Hall link and have a look around the site. If there’s something you’re not sure about, or if you would like to share any observations or suggestions for improvements please drop me a line at cvhwadmin@coldridgevillagehall.org.uk.

My thanks to the Village Hall Committee Officers, our Village Hall User Group representatives and other content providers for their support and assistance in getting us here today.
