Womens Institute – April 2026 (including AGM)

“April’s session will be a meeting of two halves; first, the AGM with committee reports reviewing the old year and looking forward to what’s coming up followed by a talk from Coldridge’s own Kate Fitch about her work as a Street Pastor.

As a group of faith-based volunteers, Street Pastors patrol our communities during the small hours providing care and help to anyone in need. Whether that need arises from an overexuberant night out, homelessness, mental health crisis or wanting a chat, Street Pastors are on hand to provide non-judgmental compassion and aid to those in a vulnerable state. Find out more on Wednesday, 8th April at 7.30pm in the Village Hall about this inspirational organisation.

New members are always welcome or come as a guest (£3 – women only). Meetings are held (with the odd exception) on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. Subjects range from charities and local interest groups, cookery demonstrations and craft workshops to the arts and wellbeing. Look out for more information on the village socials.
