Fun Race Night

Coldridge Village Hall invites you to take part in a Fun Race Night: Saturday 1st March

8 Races Doors Open 7pm first race 7:30pm Free Entry Licenced Bar

Here’s the must know details….

1. Sponsor A Race For £5

• Name the Race
• Receive acknowledgement of your sponsorship on list of evenings supporters and verbally have your name/company acknowledged by the master of ceremonies.
• Present the winning horse owner with the prize money and any memento you care to provide (the most entertaining memento of the evening will win a special prize).
• Watch your race in comfort from the VIP lounge where you will be served with an array of luxurious (ish) canapes.

2. Buy A Horse £4
Have you always wanted to own a race horse? For just £4 you can make that dream come true. Either select your horse from the list being circulated pre-evening, or you can buy, any as yet unsold horses on the night.

• Watch your race from the VIP area, where you will be served with luxurious (ish) canapes.
• Rename your horse if you so wish
• See your name up in lights on the pre-race runners list.
• Winning horse receives up to £20 (subject to sales).

3. Race Betting
On the night you can place a wager on any of the 8 horses at the ‘Tote Table’. Bets are in £1 ticket denominations. The Pay out is determined by the total amount bet on the race (minus a small percentage for the hall), which will then be distributed equally among the winning tickets.

4. Special Race 7
If you have not been able to buy a horse then Race 7 is your last chance. A special race will be run where all 8 horses will be auctioned live before the race.
