We’re getting moving in March on Wednesday, 11th March at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. If you thought strength training was for competition and fitness models, think again. Gaining and maintaining strength throughout midlife and beyond is vital for illness prevention and well-being. Moderate strength training ensures you’re able to carry on doing what you want to do, whether that’s carrying the shopping, trotting up the stairs or picking up a grand-child. New members are always welcome or come as a guest (£3 – women only). Meetings are held (with the odd exception) on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. Subjects range from charities and local interest groups, cookery demonstrations and craft workshops to the arts and wellbeing. Look out for more information on the village socials.
