Coldridge WI – May 2026

May’s meeting sees us introduced to the art of Chinese Brush Painting with artist and teacher, Mary Moult.

A gift of a set of chinese brushes encouraged Mary to expand her horizon from watercolours to inks, and the wonderful world of this stylised Oriental artform. She also runs art workshops using chinese brush painting techniques. We will be encouraged to give it a go and all materials will be provided.

New members are always welcome or come as a guest (£3 – women only). Meetings are held (with the odd exception) on the second Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall. Subjects range from charities and local interest groups, cookery demonstrations and craft workshops to the arts and wellbeing. Look out for more information on the village socials.
