From 2025: “Join us for some traditional May-Day fun as we step back in time and attempt some Maypole Dancing in Coldridge Village Square. There’s no charge, all ages are welcome to watch, ..or better still join-in.

Hot and cold refreshments along with scones and cakes will be available to buy from the ‘Maypole Cafe’ in the Village Hall. Alternatively you could bring along your own food and blanket for a picnic on the Village Green.

So don’t be shy – we’re all novices too so there should be a few laughs and lots of ribbon knots to untangle!”
